Get an in-depth look at inclusionary zoning, dispelling myths about potential benefits and detriments to providing affordable housing, and discover how inclusionary zoning works best as part of a comprehensive local housing strategy. Lisa Sturtevant, PhD, president, Lisa Sturtevant & Associates, uses examples from the Washington, D.C. region to highlight different approaches to inclusionary zoning -- local planning ordinances that require or incentivize developers to build affordable housing as part of the process of developing market-rate housing.
