Building Tour: Union Station: Building Repairs and Restoration Projects

This program is SOLD OUT.

The historic Daniel Burnham-designed complex has been altered several times and withstood challenges since it first opened in 1907. In addition to general wear and tear since the station’s radical renovation in 1985, the 2011 earthquake caused damage to the vaulted ceilings in the Main Hall and Retail Concourse. Historic architect John Bowie of John Bowie & Associates and architect-of-record George Eisenberger of Michael Winstanley Architects & Planners lead a tour of the restoration projects underway and planned for this iconic building.
