Members are invited to view Evicted before it opens to the public. This ground-breaking exhibition is a collaboration with Matthew Desmond, professor of sociology at Princeton University, a MacArthur “Genius” Fellow, and best-selling author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning book Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City. With unique design elements and striking graphics, this immersive exhibition challenges adults and youth to face the enormity of a difficult subject, while providing context and a call to action.

Sarah A. Leavitt, Ph.D., curator, leads a tour of the exhibition at 2 pm. A few spaces remain for the tour; RSVP to membership@nbm.org or to the membership department at 202.272.2448.

Reservations are not required to view the exhibition at other times during this special member preview afternoon.
