Explore a new affordable housing solution for formerly homeless veterans and low income residents in D.C. with an offsite tour of the John and Jill Ker Conway Residence. Program begins at the Museum with a guided tour of the exhibition Making Room: Housing for a Changing America and a conversation about homelessness here in D.C. facilitated by Linda Kaufman, director of homeless services at DowntownDC BID. Lead project consultant Chapman Todd from Community Solutions and DLR Group senior associate Robert Widger, RA lead the offsite tour.

Free, youth ages 15–18. Limited to 25 participants. Registration required.

Tour begins at the National Building Museum, but youth have the option to leave from the Ker Conway Residence or return to the Museum with staff when tour ends. We will walk from the Museum to the Ker Conway Residence, about 20 minutes. Permission forms and information about lunch will be shared with registered participants.
