Members are invited to view the exhibition Architecture of an Asylum: St. Elizabeths 1852-2017 before it opens to the public. The exhibition traces the history and future of Washington, D.C.'s well known and influential mental health facility through film, photographs, architectural fragments, medical instruments, and an enormous three-dimensional model.

The curator-led tour is now full. Reservations are not required to view the exhibition throughout Member Preview Day.
