Nature can thrive within the built environment given the right conditions and responsible stewardship. Experience George Washington University and Founding Farmers' roof top apiary with beekeepers Gabrielle Discafani and Michelle Ahn, and learn what you can do to help pollinators in the city. share your perspective with beekeepers and your fellow explorers through causal conversation at Founding Farmers.

On-site + Conversation = Insight & Inspiration

Urban Salons illuminate the past, present, and future of the built environment in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The program consists a half hour interactive site visit led by knowledgable guides, and a half hour converstion with fellow explorers in a nearby cafe to share thoughts, insights, and questions about the site visit experience, and more.

$15. Pre-registration required. Space is limited to 10 people.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Online registration for Museum programs closes at midnight the day before the scheduled program.
