The Martha C. Cutts Gymnasium at Washington Latin PCS is the first building in Washington to use cross laminated timber, a flexible building system made from industrial dried lumber stacked together at right angles and glued over the entire surface. Ann Neeriemer, AIA, LEED AP from Perkins Eastman DC leads a tour of the newly completed facility, which includes a basketball court, changing rooms, bathrooms, an exercise room, offices, and storage space. This program is offered in conjunction with the exhibition Timber City.
