Prize winning author, professor, and architecture critic Witold Rybczynski discusses his latest book Makeshift Metropolis, which explores the history of city planning, the kind of cities we want, and the kind of cities we need. This program continues the Museum’s Intelligent Cities initiative, a multi-year effort to improve the way our cities look, feel, and function. A book signing will follow the lecture. 1.5 LU (AIA)/ 1.5 CM (AICP)

$12 Members; FREE Students; $20 Non-members. Prepaid registration required. Walk-in registration based on availability.

The Museum's award-winning Shop is open for one hour prior to the start of the program. Firehook Cafe is also open for one hour prior to the start of the program, offering sandwiches, soft drinks, tea and coffee and sweet treats. Shop and Café hours are subject to change.
