The National Building Museum’s collection has just about anything for you to love, from one of the United States’ largest assemblages of architectural toys, to comprehensive drawings of the Washington National Cathedral, to an extensive photographic archive. In this immersive program, hear our collections staff explain how and why we collect; take a behind-the-scenes tour of the collection; and tour the exhibition Cool & Collected to get the story behind the objects on display. Space is limited to 45.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Registration is for event planning purposes only and does not guarantee a seat. Online registration for Museum programs closes at midnight the day before the scheduled program.

The Museum's award-winning Shop and Firehook Café are open for one hour prior to the start of the program. Shop and Café hours are subject to change.
