Glacial Drift

Experience the beauty and mystery of ICEBERGS enlivened through dance, music, and poetry. GLACIAL DRIFT, an original work choreographed by Washington artist Maida Withers, features Dance Construction Company dancers, electronic music by composers and musicians John Driscoll and Steve Hilmy, and new poetry by David McAleavey and Alex Caldiero. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to interact with the dancers as they explore boundaries between the wonder of nature and human impact on the environment.

Dance performance and music is continuous throughout the installation all night, with special presentations in the East Court of ICEBERGS at 7 and 8 pm. 

Food and beverages by Red Apron and The Partisan by the Neighborhood Restaurant Group are available for purchase. Daikaiya will also be serve their shaved ice with cocktail elements.

Your Late Night ticket purchase includes access to all current exhibitions. Both the exhibitions and the Museum's award-winning Shop are open for the duration of the Late Night.
